How do I qualify for Active Trader Pricing?

You’ll automatically receive Active Trader Pricing at $3.95 per trade when you place 150 or more eligible online commissionable ETF and option trades within any three consecutive calendar months. See complete Commission & Fee Schedule here.

What if I don’t maintain 150 trades once I’ve qualified?

Your trading activity is evaluated quarterly (at the end of March, June, September, and December). To maintain Active Trader Pricing, you’ll need to have placed 150 or more eligible trades within the preceding three months.

Example: If you qualified in October by placing 150+ trades from July to September, the next evaluation will be in December, considering your trades from October to November.

Do all my accounts qualify for Active Trader Pricing?

Yes, once you qualify for Active Trader Pricing, the discounted rate will be applied to all your accounts under the same Client ID. You can view your accounts under your Client ID by logging in and navigating to the “Client ID Profile” page, located on the top right of the page by clicking your name.

I’m a new client and have placed over 150 trades at another brokerage. Do I still qualify for Active Trader Pricing?

What types of trades are eligible for the discounted pricing?

All online commissionable stock, ETF, and option trades are eligible for Active Trader Pricing.

Where do I view the amount of trades I placed?

You can view your trade count by clicking on your name on the top right, then going to “Client ID Profile” and the "Trade Activity” tab.

When does Active Trader Pricing take effect?

The new Active Trader Pricing will be effective starting October 1, 2024.
